The Police Command in Anambra, in collaboration with the Joint Security Task Force, JTF, has rescued three kidnapped victims along the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the rescue in a statement on Saturday in Onitsha.
According to Mr Ikenga, the commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has directed operatives to intensify efforts to apprehend the perpetrators.
