The Abia State Police in South-east Nigeria has announced that they have apprehended the suspected killer of a final-year undergraduate student from the Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU). This arrest comes after the victim, Emmanuel Uche, went missing in March following some cult-related clashes in the students’ residential area.
A disturbing viral video clip surfaced later, depicting the horrific moment when the victim was mercilessly murdered by a group of suspected cultists outside the university premises. The footage showed the victim attempting to escape by crawling through an untarred road, only to be caught up with and shot dead by one of the attackers as he tried to flee.

The suspect was apprehended in Uturu, Isuikwuato Council Area of the state by police detectives from the Abia State Police Command.
