The Jigawa Police Command says it has arrested 212 suspects in connection with looting, destruction, and vandalism of properties in the state in the ongoing nationwide protest.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmadu Abdullahi, made the disclosure when he briefed newsmen on measures being taken by the command to restore law and order in the state.
Mr Abdullahi said that 72 of those arrested have already been charged to court.
