The Plateau Government has lifted the 24-hour curfew earlier imposed on Jos-Bukuru metropolis, following violent protest in the area.
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA to Gov. Caleb Mutfwang, on Thursday in Jos.
Bere said Gov. Mutfwang, who ordered the lifting of the curfew, said that citizens can henceforth go about their lawful business without restrictions.
