Nigeria: Phillip Aduda denies rumoured defection to APC — Africa Links 24

A former Senate minority leader, Philip Aduda, has denied rumours that he would defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

There had been wide speculations that Mr Aduda, who represented the FCT in the 8th and 9th Senate, would join the APC and take over the party structure.

But speaking during a meeting with state party executive, Mr Aduda, who is an ally of the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, denied the newspaper publication.
