The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Osun State has cancelled its planned governorship primary elections initially slated for December 2.
The party also hinted that the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, “may no longer be interested” in seeking re-election under the PDP.
The state chairman of the PDP, Sunday Bisi, disclosed this during a press conference in Osogbo on Monday.
He attributed the governor’s decision to the worsening crisis with the opposition party.
