Nigeria: PDP, APC lose seven members as defections hit Reps

House of Representatives Nigeria on Tuesday witnessed another wave of defections, with at least seven lawmakers switching party affiliations across the political spectrum.

At plenary presided over by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu following the Easter recess, it was disclosed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost five members, while the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) lost two.
