The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says its ongoing membership drive and registration is for new members, not for existing members.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba made the clarification in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
Mr Ologunagba said that the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, had received reports that some existing members of PDP in some wards in certain states were being requested to revalidate their membership in the ongoing exercise.
