Ilutitun APC Youths have officially distanced themselves from the reported endorsement of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the upcoming governorship election in Ondo State. The youths, as represented by Olafunmi Akinyele, released a statement expressing their disapproval of the endorsement and criticizing the individuals who allegedly made the decision on behalf of the APC in Ilutitun.

The statement highlighted the concern and disappointment felt by the youths in response to the actions of certain individuals claiming to represent the APC in Ilutitun. It was made clear that those individuals did not have the authority to speak on behalf of the party, especially since elected representatives were already in place to fulfill that role. The youths accused these individuals of pursuing personal interests and seeking political favor, without considering the welfare of the Moribodo community to which they belong.

The youths firmly rejected the endorsement of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, emphasizing the need for genuine leadership and representation in Ondo South, which they believe has been neglected compared to other districts in the state. They highlighted the importance of continuity in governance and expressed their skepticism regarding the ability of Aiyedatiwa to address the long-standing issues and challenges facing the region within just four years of his potential tenure.

Furthermore, the statement issued a warning to those individuals who had allegedly endorsed Aiyedatiwa, cautioning them against compromising the rights and future of the youths in the community for their personal gain. The youths asserted their determination to take charge of their own destiny and make decisions that will benefit them and future generations, calling for a shift in leadership to allow for new perspectives and priorities to be considered.

In conclusion, the youths of Ilutitun APC reiterated their rejection of the endorsement and urged the individuals involved to refrain from selling out the rights and interests of the community. They called for unity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to the development and progress of Ondo South, emphasizing the need for inclusive and effective governance to address the challenges facing the region. It is clear that the youths are eager to take on a more active role in shaping their future and ensuring that their voices are heard and respected in matters that affect their lives and well-being.
