The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) has appointed a former National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Iyiola Omisore, as the chairman of a task force committee for its Engineering Residency Programme (ERP).

Recall that the council had earlier in 2024 announced plans to implement a one-year residency programme for engineering graduates to enhance their skills upon completing tertiary education.
