In the aftermath of Senator Abdul Ningi’s resignation as Chairman of the Northern Senators’ Forum (NSF), Senator Abdulaziz Yar’Adua has taken over the role. This leadership transition occurred 48 hours after Ningi’s departure, with Yar’Adua receiving unanimous support from senators across the three geo-political zones in the North. Alongside Yar’Adua, Senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno was appointed as the Publicity Secretary of the forum, a position previously held by Senator Summaila Kawu.
In his address to the press following his appointment as the Chairman of the NSF, Senator Yar’Adua outlined the key objectives of the Northern Forum.
