Nigeria: Non-communicable diseases account for 30% of deaths in Nigeria — CAPPA

The Executive Director of Corporate Accountability and Public Participation Africa (CAPPA), Akinbode Oluwafemi, has said that non-communicable diseases (NCDs) have been identified as a major cause of death in Nigeria, accounting for approximately 30% of all fatalities in the country.

He made this known during a journalism training on the Sugar-Sweetened Beverage (SSB) Tax and Industry Monitoring held in Kano.
