Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has vowed never to betray his political godfather and leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

He also dismissed insinuations of a rift between him and Mr Kwankwaso, saying those attempting to sow discord between them will not succeed.

Mr Kabir stated this during an event marking the 69th birthday of the former governor at his residence on Tuesday.
