Former Minister of Aviation, Ambassador Fidelia Njeze, and Senator Chukwuka Utazi, who represented Enugu North Senatorial zone, have officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). This significant move was marked by their reception at the APC’s secretariat in Enugu, alongside other notable PDP members who also switched to the APC.
The defection of key PDP figures like Davidson Nnamani, Princess Juliet Oloto, Chika Idoko, Jonathan Eze, Mr Umunna Ugwu, and Ezi-Obodo Amechi Idodo from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) signifies a shifting political landscape in Enugu State.
