Sen. Shuaib Salis, the Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT and Cyber Security has announced that Nigeria will soon launch a 90,000-kilometer fibre optic network nationwide to boost digital penetration.

Mr Salis disclosed this on Monday in Abeokuta during the opening ceremony of the 2025 Press Week of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ogun council.
