Federal Government has declared Friday a public holiday to mark the 2025 Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr Magdalene Ajani.
Tunji-Ojo congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion.
