Niger State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has secured 29 convictions between January to April 2026 on illicit drugs related cases.
The State Commander of the agency, Shehu Nomau Gwadabawa, disclosed this while fielding questions from journalists on his command’s scorecard for the year.
He added that his command had seized a total of over 3,000 kg of illicit substances with cannabis sativa accounting for the bulk of the seizure.
