Nigeria: NDLEA intercepts U.S., UK, DRC-bound illicit drug consignments at Lagos airport — Africa Links 24

This is contained in a statement by the Director, Media and Advocacy, NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, issued to newsmen on Sunday in Abuja.

Mr Babafemi said that the drugs, concealed in frozen snails, electrical bulbs and female clothes, were  intercepted at a courier company in Lagos.

He said that at least two suspects linked to an attempt to export the illicit substances had already been taken into custody.
