Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), in collaboration with troops of the Nigerian Army’s 13 Brigade in Calabar, have destroyed over six hectares of cannabis farmland in Uwet community, Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The operation, which followed credible intelligence on illegal cannabis cultivation in the area, led to the arrest of a 53-year-old suspect, identified as Alice Sunday Udoh, at the site.
