The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has announced plans to recruit 1,000 additional personnel to strengthen its regulatory and enforcement capacity.
The Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, made the announcement on Tuesday while briefing newsmen in Abuja.
Mrs Adeyeye also restated the banning of production, sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages packaged in sachets and bottles below 200 millilitres.
