Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State announced on Friday that a new minimum wage of ₦73,000 for civil servants will come into effect starting November.

This pledge was made during a fitness walk in Akure, held as part of the 2024 Public Service Week celebration.

Following the walk through Akure, civil servants converged at the Government House in Alagbaka, where the governor warmly received them.
