A Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Thursday sentenced Kingsley Timothy, a 23-year-old man, to 15 strokes of cane for stealing two phones worth N650, 000 in a church .
The convict, a resident of Narayi, Kaduna State, was arraigned on a two-count charge of theft to which he pleaded guilty and pleaded for leniency.
The Magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, sentenced the convict to 15 strokes of cane and advised him to be of good behaviour.
