The Management of Maryam Abacha American University has named one of its female hostels after Zainab Najashi Danbatta, a 300 level student of physiotherapy who passed away on April 22 after a brief illness.

The founder and president of MAAUN Group of Universities, Professor Adamu Gwarzo, announced the naming of the hostel after the late student in a statement on Saturday.

He said the university management decided to honour late Zainab Najashi Danbatta by immortalising her name.
