A legal practitioner and rights activist, Suleiman Abubakar, has raised an alarm over alleged threats to his life after requesting clarification on how Niger State government spent N461million ‘signature funds” sent to each of the the 25 local government areas of the state.

The lawyer had in early January threatened to sue the state government if it failed to disclose how the funds were utilised.
