Nigeria: Lamidi Apapa takes over Labour Party — Africa Links 24

A chieftain of the Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa, has taken over leadership of the party, following the Supreme Court judgement sacking Julius Abure as the party’s National Chairman.

In its recent judgement, a five-member panel of the Supreme Court had set aside the decision of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, which had recognised Mr Abure as the party’s national chairman.
