A human rights activist and expert on violent extremism in Sub-Saharan Africa, Bulama Bukarti, has said Lakurawa group is not a new terrorist organization in Nigeria.
Mr Bukarti said, contrary to a recent claim by Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters, the group has been in existence in Nigeria since 2016.
