A faction of the Labour Party, led by Julius Abure, has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to its presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, to resign from the party over his involvement in a new opposition coalition.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the coalition which seeks to unseat President Bola Tinubu includes Mr Obi, former vice president Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai, Rotimi Amaechi, among others.
