The New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has dismissed reports in some national dailies claiming that the national leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, demanded the vice-presidential slot as a condition for defecting to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ladipo Johnson, the NNPP described the claims as “blatant lies” and a deliberate attempt by political elites to discredit Mr Kwankwaso.
