The Kebbi Government says it has spent N7.13 billion on the supply and installation of solar-powered streetlights in the last three years to enhance security and strengthen urban infrastructure.

The Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hayatuddeen Ahmad-Bawa, disclosed this on Monday in Birnin Kebbi during an inter-ministerial press briefing organised by the Ministry of Information and Culture.
