The institute was closed down by the administration of former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje in the past eight years.

Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf made the declaration during the formal presentation of Letters of Admission to the 250 new students, on Thursday in Kura.

He said the school would begin academic activities without delay, and reiterated his commitment to reopen all institutions of learning shut down by the previous administration in the state.
