Nigeria: Kano govt announces date for conduct of LG polls — Africa Links 24

The Kano State Independent Electoral Commission, KANSIEC, has announced September 30th as the date for the conduct of local government area election.

The chairman of the KANSIEC, Sani Malunfashi, made the announcement on Wednesday at a press conference.

According to him, all candidates will be subjected to drug tests before they are cleared for the election.
