Nigeria: Jigawa lost 181 people to tanker explosion – Namadi — Africa Links 24

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa, on Tuesday, said 181 people died, following the tanker explosion that occurred in the state on Oct. 15.

Mr Namadi stated this while briefing State House correspondents after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.

He said that 80 people were hospitalised while 210 families were affected by the incident.
