Kano State commissioner for transport, Ibrahim Namadi, has dissociated himself from notorious drug dealer, Sulaiman Danwawu.

DAILY NIGERIAN reports that Mr Namadi stood as surety and bailed Mr Danwawu, who is currently under trial at the Federal High Court in Kano over alleged drug-related offences.

But in a statement on Friday, Mr Namadi said he neither had any relationship nor affiliation with the alleged drug kingpin.
