Former Deputy President of the Senate, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, recently called on Nigerians to show their support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that the success of the President would equate to the success of all Nigerians. Speaking at a homecoming reception held in his honor in Ughelli, Delta State, Omo-Agege, who represented the Delta Central Senatorial District in the Ninth Assembly, lauded Tinubu’s leadership, stating that the President had performed admirably.

As the former APC governorship candidate in the 2023 election in Delta, Omo-Agege highlighted Tinubu’s track record as the former governor of Lagos State and emphasized the need for him to replicate his success nationwide. He acknowledged the initial challenges faced by the President, particularly in the economic sector, but commended the progress that had been made. Omo-Agege emphasized Tinubu’s commitment to the country’s development and expressed optimism about his ability to bring about positive change during his term.

Encouraging patience and continued prayers for the President, Omo-Agege pointed out the recent stabilization of the Dollar exchange rate as a sign of improvement. He assured Nigerians that Tinubu would work towards improving the country over the next eight years of his tenure, urging citizens to remain hopeful and patient.

Reflecting on the sacrifices made during the APC governorship campaign in Delta, Omo-Agege paid tribute to the five individuals who lost their lives in the line of duty.
