Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has made headlines by swearing in his new cabinet members and re-appointing some members who were previously dismissed. According to the reports, four Commissioners who were previously removed from the State Executive Council (SEC) two weeks ago have been reinstated by the governor.
The reinstated cabinet members are among the nominees submitted to the House of Assembly for vetting and approval. This development comes after the governor mentioned his intention to reinstate some of the previously removed cabinet members during the swearing-in ceremony of Deputy Governor Dr. Olayide Adelami on Thursday, February 1.

Ajulo, Razaq Obe, Emmanuel Igbassan, Akinwumi Sowore, and Oseni Oyeniyi. The governor also nominated three Special Advisers to join the cabinet, including Olugbenga Omole as the Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Olamide Falana as the Special Adviser on Gender Affairs, and Alabi Johnson as the Special Adviser on Energy.
The reinstatement of the previously dismissed cabinet members and the addition of new members to the state executive council indicate the governor’s commitment to building a diverse and competent team to address the challenges and drive development in Ondo state.
