Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has confirmed the killing of 63 people in a fresh attack in Darajamal, Bama, Local government area on Friday.

Mr Zulum confirmed the attack during a condolence visit to the affected community on Saturday.

It was gathered that the victims comprised five soldiers and about 58 civilians.

Recall that residents of the community had recently returned after years of displacement.
