Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno, has approved N3 billion for payment of death benefits to families of deceased civil servants in the state.

He also directed payment of N70,000 minimum wage to workers with immediate effect.

Mr Zulum said this during a meeting with the Technical Committee on the implementation of the National Minimum Wage, on Thursday in Maiduguri.
