Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano has presented proposed 2025 budget N549,160,417,663.00 to the House of Assembly on Friday.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that education has taken the lion in the appropriation Bill with N168,350,802,346,19, representing 31 percent of the total sum.
Recall that in 2024 budget, education sector got 29 percent of the total 2024 budget of N437.3billion, but is a little higher on the 2025 proposed budget.
