Nigeria: Gov. Yusuf approves recruitment of more Mathematics teachers in Kano — Africa Links 24

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has approved the recruitment of additional Mathematics teachers for deployment to schools across the state.

The state Commissioner for Education, Dr Ali Makoda, made this known while inaugurating the distribution of admission letters to SS one students at the Maryam Aloma Girls’ Secondary School on Wednesday in Kano.

According to him, the decision was aimed at addressing the shortage of qualified mathematics teachers in secondary schools.
