Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State  has approved the appointment of the Emir of Lafia, Sidi Muhammad Bage, as the new Chancellor, North-West University, Kano.

This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson Sunusi Bature on Sunday  in Kano.
