Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina has confirmed that community-based negotiations and dialogue are ongoing to address security challenges in flash areas of the state.
Mr Radda revealed this during the unveiling of an 18-month European Union–funded project, Conflict Prevention, Crisis Response, and Resilience, in Katsina on Monday.
According to him, peace deals have already been struck in some council areas of the state.
