Nigeria: Gov Oyebanji ends two-week annual leave

Governor of Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji, will resume official duties on Monday, September 7th, 2026, following the conclusion of his two-week annual leave.

The governor had announced the commencement of the annual leave two weeks earlier to enable him prepare for the second-term administration.

The Special Adviser to the governor on Media, Yinka Oyebode, in a statement on Sunday, said the two-week leave was part of the governor’s statutory annual leave entitlement.
