The governor of Zamfara, Dauda Lawal, has urged the newly elected local government chairmen in the state to prioritise the welfare of their people and ensure equity and fairness in the distribution of developmental projects.

A statement issued by the governor’s media aide, Sulaiman Idris, said Mr Lawal gave the charge during the swearing-in ceremony of the 14 newly elected council chairmen.
