Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi has pledged not to impose candidates on any community in the 2027 general elections.

Mr Idris made the pledge while receiving the executive members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, from Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

The governor said communities had the right to choose those who would represent them.
