Governor Umaru Bago of Niger has announced N80,000 minimum wage for civil servants effective from November.
Mr Bago disclosed this shortly after meeting with the organised labour in the state at the Government House, Minna on Friday.
He said the payment would be for both the state and the local government workers effective from November.
Mr Bago said the committee on the minimum wage would work on the consequential adjustments.
