The Rivers Executive Council, has revoked the ₦134 billion contract awarded to the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, CCECC, for the renovation, retrofitting, and furnishing of the state secretariat complex.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Dr Austin Ezekiel-Hart, disclosed this to newsmen after the State Executive Council meeting held in Port Harcourt on Thursday, saying that the contract was awarded by the emergency rule administration.
