Nigeria: Four deaths, 11 Lassa fever cases recorded in Plateau

Plateau State has reported 11 confirmed cases of Lassa fever and four deaths across seven local government areas since December 2025.

The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Nicholas Baamlong, disclosed the figures on Saturday during a briefing at the Ministry of Health in Jos, outlining the outbreak and the government’s response.
