Nigeria: Fintiri declares three-day mourning for late gov of Gongola state

 Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has declared three days of mourning in the state over the death of Bamanga Tukur, a former governor of the defunct Gongola State and former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a mark of honour for the nonagenarian, the flag should fly at half mast for three days 

Tukur, an elder statesman, businessman and prominent politician, died in the early hours of  Saturday after a brief illness.
