Nigeria: Family seeks N17m financial assistance for three-month-old’s heart surgery

Weeks after her case was first brought to public attention, the family of three-month-old Adegbite Robiah, who urgently needs corrective heart surgery, says it has raised only about N2,090,000 of the N17m required, leaving a shortfall of nearly N15m as a November deadline for the procedure draws nearer.

Robiah, born on May 9, 2026, was diagnosed with a complex congenital heart defect after developing fast breathing.
