Doyin Okupe, a former senior special assistant on public affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan, is dead.
Mr Okupe died at the age of 72.
Sources said he died on Friday after a protracted battle with cancer.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has described the medical doctor’s death as a “personal loss”.
